Type: Evergreen perennial, ornamental plant (not a true fern).

Family: Asparagaceae.
Features:

Grown mainly for its delicate, feathery, needle-like leaves that resemble a soft fern, giving it a light and airy appearance.

Produces arching stems that can trail gracefully from pots or baskets, or grow upright depending on the variety.

Small white to pale pink flowers may appear in summer, followed by bright red berries, adding ornamental value.
