Umbrella Palm – Description

Features:

• Famous for its unique umbrella-shaped whorls of narrow leaves that radiate at the top of tall, slender stems.

• Resembles mini “palm umbrellas,” giving it a tropical and elegant look.

• Stems are erect, smooth, and green, usually reaching 2–5 feet tall indoors and even taller outdoors.

• Produces tiny clusters of greenish-brown flowers near the leaf tips, which later form small seeds.

Growth Habit:

• Native to Madagascar, often found in wetlands, ponds, and riverbanks.

• A clump-forming, water-loving plant that thrives in pots, ponds, or as an indoor ornamental.
